The game is tricky as in getting you used to some power level over the enemies and then BAM someone is suddendly much more powerful and you get rekt. But there's always the cheese tactic to overcome those cases x3.

Just get the super broken perk from Mcready. Then you can headshot from half a mile away with the mininuke. XD

I don't know what are flashbangs, or what's up with the flaregun... I never used it. The artillery attack is epic tho.

I was referencing the Lonesome road DLC of Fallout: New Vegas. The flare gun and Flashbangs can scare and make things like deathclaws panic and run away. Even the legendaries with panic if hit by a flare.
