Photo journalist and wildlife photographer and artist, and does a silly funny animal strip on occasion. Her Drawing Wildlife book is a great reference, highly recommended, and has a book on manga/anime and domestic animals too. Introduced me to Arizona and hunting Javelina and Elk.

Two days ago I missed a shot of a hawk on one side of the tree and a squirrel on the other. Apparently the hawk didn't want to wait for me to remove the lens cap.

Last year I saw two squirrels running around on the trunk of a tree while a hawk circled on the opposite side for about ten minutes before he gave up. I couldn't tell if the noises they were making were taunting or laughing and this happened at Disney World. :)

so very cute. :) so this is what she looks like...
have the drawing wildlife book, too. one of the handful of how-to books that actually teach you stuff instead of just showing it. I recommend it out to people, too.

And not just any critters. Its the Coyote Sisters, who happen to live in the area. In fact, the one sister resides in a road side motel east of Kingman off of I-40.

...Lord I only hope you never ate the Javelina. The ones down here in Cochise are freakin' disgusting little pests. >.< Otherwise Elk is still great, though I live about 200 miles from the nearest one apparently.

Never saw a single piggy. JC wanted one as she really likes to eat them. Took two seasons to get the Elk, a big six by six. Very big, very heavy, had to pack it out in parts. Very tasty.
