These were a couple of the concept sketches for a commission I did for
York_Indayla , of a piece I'm still very fond of, due to the tiny little details that needed to go into it: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16278577/
As you might imagine with something like that, it is almost impossible to nail on the first attempt what you may envision executing. And as you can see in the concepts, where I was focused on getting the details right, or say, picturing it in my mind and then asking, 'How will this translate on paper?'
Anyway, he had requested to see these, and as he paid for the piece, who would I be to say no, right? heh

You did two starter sketches. I'm sorry for the torment I inflicted on your wrist.
I want you let you know that I took note of every small difference between these first variation and the final illustration, especially in terms of the cybernetics. Makes me realize, with how his arms a designed, he has the capability of punching like a jackhammer. Or, the way Iron Man punched the Hulk over and over in the latest Avengers release.
The left sketch depiction of C1-YD3 most of all I noticed how the implants on his neck slides a bit as he turns his head around. Also giving me a very nice side view of the skull he implanted for his head.
You can also say, that these sketches along with his finished illustration were how C1-YD3 gradually made modifications to his own bodies. That's the beauty with cyborgs and revisions.
