>.> Okay so my scanner messed up the majority of their body because they came out more purple than the Silvery red that I colored them as but I think it still gets the basic design across!
History:
When the Cybus men of Pete's World and the Cybermen of Mondas fused to create the designs seen in "Nightmare in Silver" it was a union destined to fail. The Cybus men were near suicidal in their tactics; throwing themselves at an enemy without concern of self preservation as they did against the Cult of Skaro; but the Cybermen of Mondas were bred with one goal in mind: Survival. When their resources began to become strained the Mondas components began to see that creating more Cybermen in their current form would cost more than redesigning themselves at the cost of some of their features. The Cybus Men components attempted to pacify their outcry to conserve resources and lose any of their former abilities; but the will of the Cybermen of Mondas was stronger than that of their alternate dimension counterparts. When they thought their survival would be threatened the true Cybermen of Mondas consumed and eradicated any trace of the conflicting Cybus men from their bodies and began to adapt themselves to create more Cybermen for less of their limited resources with their single goal in mind.
This new generation of Cybermen is much slower to adapt than the Nightmare in Silver models and cannot produce as effective Cybermites; but what abilities they lost they made up for in survivability and rapid field conversion abilities. Using advanced Cybermats to borrow small feelers into the host's chest and nervous system, the host is slowly programmed with Cyber knowledge and internally modified to serve as a new Cyberman. Whereas the Cybus men converted victims quickly because of the physical trauma of their methods, the new conversion method is far slower and possibly even slightly pleasant as the host is put into a trance-like state. The Successful conversion rate is almost 100% due to this change. And with more organic components internally, this new model moves much more quietly and quickly than their bulkier counterparts. Organic and mechanical parts are easily replaceable and due to their internal structure they can survive (albeit gravely injured) a shot from a Dalek's weapon; however a second blast will kill their remaining components. Surgery is used to change the rest of the body and ensure it's utmost effectiveness after being reprogrammed by the Cybermat. These Cybermen also have a moving lower jaw when speaking and can be heard raspily breathing if stood close to.
