I really like the mood you've managed to paint here, everyhting is so grand and overwhelming, and yet, I ca almost hear Day sighing or muttering same ol', same ol' while shaking his head. Or something. I put way too much into things

I also like how it's kind of dreamlike, out of focus and messy. Like the masses of colours could shift into something else any minute. It's like the light is waving over the darkness in the corner and this makes a very pleasant composition to look at

Wow, that's a lot to take in XD I'm really happy that you liked it. I knew I needed to add the pig for this, and as I didn't want to just do a half assed portrait, I added a half assed background too haha.

I wiggled and tweaked the composition a lot during this to get it right, and used it as an excuse to push myself a bit more as far as colour and blending, or lack there-of goes. What with the impressive colours you always use, I tried hard to make mine as imposing as possible. The weirdest thing to me is how easy he seemed to be for me to draw, but I'm happy he was of course.

What baffles me more is that you couldn't believe I'd want to trade with you, are you sure you have the right person? XD

Oh, may as well comment here! Thank you very much for me sketch back C: I'm using it as my desktop now, it was an extra surprise considering I didn't know who you'd do haha. Your colours are always so nice to look at, and the colouring itself is delightfully chunky, it's a good thing I promise! I really need to try to get that unsaturated look going too sometime. I am very glad you liked it. I am always worried about getting thinsg too rough, especially with subjects I'm not very good at, but it's just a sketch after all. I really like your big eared character (mouse... thing?), so adorable

I do trades as often as I can, I love it. But at the moment I'm kind of busy with commissions (money, I needs them, fff), but of couse! I'd love to trade again some other time
