Years ago, I came up with a furry space setting. I wrote quite a bit of story for it, though in retrospect I was more concerned with having fun than making anything coherent. It was never finished, but it's stayed with me and gone through a few iterations over time. Recently, as part of my ongoing attempt to improve my 3D skills, I've been reviving it in images.

Depicted here is the Core, the center of the universe and the sun of all planets, the birthplace of all things and the gravitational center towards which all matter and energy ultimately return. Through a constant cycle of cosmic birth, death and rebirth, the universe is continually being remade.

Which sounds grandiose, perhaps, but really, the story's mostly about space truckers and asteroid roadhouses and mercenary battles with lasers and explosions and stuff. I might post up some of what I've written lately once I'm happy with it. Although I'll need to rename it: back in the day, I called it "Space Rafer", but I know that name's taken and I'm confident I can come up with one I like more anyway. It'll do until then, I guess.
