Itzli was gonna die, I was pretty positive this giant evil lava spider woman was gonna be the end of her but at the last second she busted out a spell called Awaken Sin. She managed to roll past all 4 saves and defeated her with a ton of non lethal damage

For some context, earlier in our Dark Souls d&d campaign my character had been possessed by a cyclone flamey helmet thing. I'm sure there's a name for it but anyway, my Neutral Good cleric cut down one of her allies and felt really horrible about it for a long time. Awaken Sin basically moved all the shame/guilt of her sins and passed it on to her target. Needless to say she felt REALLY bad about it!
