Someone said about what about my electronic projects and well this one thing i take fron the trash one day, i find this chip board without the battery, when i see the board i realize was a powerbank, as i had some li ion batteries from a old portable pc i putted two of these batteries and i charged the entire day and its working :)
Im charging my phone with it actually :D
Its just a dumpster repair :)
Look for a case in the future

be careful with some stuff like this, the controller for the bank is usually set to work with a specific capacity, if you put a couple cells on that are under the capacity you could be in for a bad time. put cells that are over the capacity and it'll never reach a full charge. also, the controller is set to a specific number of cells, so as an example having 6 cells on a 3 cell controller wouldn't go over well.
Yeah, i know that :P
when i solded the batteries and putted on charging, i realize the charging ic heats when was charging the battery, i leave the Charging module and the Li ion cells in a Very open space for Avoid overcharging heat and a possible fire during charging the Cells, and the next day, i Realize the batteries was cold with 4.1 volts and the Ic was also cold, so im ok with it now, because since the ic is not charging the batteries. i only used two cells Btw :) can full charge my phone two times with a 8 hours Charge.

Just goes to show one person's trash is someone else's treasure.
I know someone who used to go Dumpster Diving at the apartments he and I both used to live at.
He always came back with several working computer components and built several working computer towers out of it.
I think it's a fine example of: People don't know just what they have....until it's gone.

When it comes to the US, a lot of people are either computer illiterate or lazy.
For example, a RAM stick good go out on someone's computer, and the person would flip out and assume the whole thing's fried (without even bothering to research), and if they're not too bright, toss the whole thing.
Personally, if it were mine, I'd at least keep possession of the Hard Drive that holds/held my data, even if you delete something, there are tools to recover it, and people have used tools like that to steal sensitive information such as banking info, etc.
I think this day in age people can't afford to be tech illiterate, there's just too much that relies on at least a basic knowledge of computers, but unfortunately in schools, they don't generally teach about them.
In school they tried teaching us how to type, (which I personally feel isn't really possible to do, people have to develop their own style, much like handwriting, etc). After that? Nothing. They taught us the very basics of MS Word and Powerpoint, after that? Nothing. It's hurting society by not teaching students the basics of computers (especially how NOT to install malware, etc).
People will throw things away, partially because they just don't know any better.
