one day i had a customer who turned out to be inept in describing something even if i asked specifically. so wehn i wnated to know which colours the body would wear, he went on about the head.
in the end we had a dragon with red head instead of a red dragon wit black hands, feet and wings. thus, 5 hours of inking and colouring were for the drain.

the customer had me using a character design by Karabiner for the head, and various details for the rest. the head got actually used, and i rather like Karabiner's edgy design for dragon heads.
