So it seemed prudent to kick off the new year by starting finishing ancient commissions…this little gem, from like…2-3 years ago, was originally apart of my first ever wave of $25 commissions. I liked what I ended up with so much I spent some extra time doing more detailed shading, unfortunately that detoured me from working on the background…which is something I abhor doing anyways.

This is the ‘cropped’ version, as the full scale building in the background that Simba was so kind enough to do for me, takes up more space than the characters. SOOOOOOOOOOOO, for now, I’m posting the characters by themselves, and will post the full scale in my scraps later today. If you’re confused by the background, don’t worry…so was I, even with several photos I couldn’t figure out the angle or where they were supposed to be…this is why you save you notes describing commissions folks. I basically winged most of it.

On a side note, this is one of those rare occasions Simba pestered me more to get this done than the commissioner…sorry sweety, it’s true. And by now any ‘push’ to get something done usually has the opposite effect on me…heh
