I can't seem to resist white winged wolves:) With the light snow we're having tonight it only seems appropriate. I had fun keeping the details mostly loose expect for her face itself. I think it draws the viewers eye in quite nicely.

Magnificent, and it reminds me of something I wanted to do that would have been impossibly stupid: To repaint the pickup I drove at the time in a black and white, birch-tree pattern winter camouflage. Not because I know any pure birch forests where that would work, but because the idea of such a forest in winter was just so cool.
Then maybe I could drive from here in Ice Hell out to some place where sane people would actually want to live and really confuse 'em. I'm evil that way. :D

Hee, and I couldn't help but notice... the knot in the birch tree a little under her right arm (left for the viewers) looks like an eye that's looking at her =^.^=

nice tunnel effect. like a dream scene or something. approbiate to the snow, too. :)
I want to try and copy the way you create forms and things only by painting in shadows and shadings into my own inferior doings... because that kind of minimalism (if that term fits at all) is highly appealing. :)
