My son, who runs about as Frostbite the Sabertooth and Firefly the Liger has autism.. While general things don't cause him much trouble he has a lot of social issues as well as sensory overload issues which can cause him to have meltdown that result in selfharm or harming others who are trying to keep him from hurting himself..

While it had been discussed many times to get him a service dog there had been one issue.. my son is terrified of large dogs and can't give them commands or let them know he is in charge..

So.. meet Lily. She's a welsh corgi who is just starting her training to be his Autism Service dog. She will be there to help control meltdowns in public spaces as well as support when he's being overwhelmed. She's the perfect size for Creedence, who views her more like a "catdog" than a dog so they get along fine. She has just started her training and has a very long way to go but she already knows she is suppose to be by his side at all times.

Do not be surprised if you see her at conventions with me or with my son and I as she has to get use to large crowds and learn how to ignore people and keep focused on her work.

Please do not ask to pet or play with her if you see her at conventions because she is in training and needs to remain focused.
