What is this? ANOTHER pokemon variant compilation? Shock and awe!
This one was both a delightful self indulgence and a sort of belated art gift for my dear friend Wyrd ( http://wyrd66.tumblr.com ), as weaviles have really become super dear to her over the course of headworld building together. She was totally responsible for conceiving the meat and potatoes of their basic anatomy (I totally bullied her into coughing up her concept work of their more realistic chimp/feline/hyena-esque anatomy), and I just took her suggested variant ideas and ran with them. The results are pretty fabulous, I think! I'm smitten by the idea of little sneasels and weaviles with really ornate/fanciful plumage, coat variations notwithstanding.
