Taking a break from sphinxes to do something different. I like trying to crosshatch, but I'm not particularly good at it. SAI is pretty middling at simulating pencils.
A pair of kobolds keep showing up in my D&D game and being a minor nuisance. Since I am a wonderful human being, I am drawing minor NPCs from the campaign instead of the other party members. Anyway, they were recently converted to the just and righteous worship of Bahamut instead, which has surprisingly incurred the personal ire of Tiamat. Pictured is the moment where they were considering the offer, but it was never in much doubt. "Bahamut can turn you into a dragon" is a very compelling argument to a kobold.
The background is, perhaps, an excerpt from one of their books about dragon anatomy.
