Inspired by the end of last summer.
Sweet memories are all that are left.
The cold of winter is a real bummer.
And time has brought the greatest theft.

And the past can never stay
It's always trying to run away.

Tomorrow may bring a better day
And lead back those gone astray.

I can still stay docile on my knees
recounting my sweet memories.

But now i must go on and face the cold
And find what the future may hold.
