Hi! I'm Dr Red, a growing artist. I decided to give away my custom Pikachu amiibo as a gift to one lucky winner! I realize the best way to get attention, and business, is by first doing some act of kindness. This is the first raffle I have done and by that do not know very well how they work :D The raffle has not started yet, I will receive advice from YOU, the furries! how long should it last? how to get the word out? And if not this amiibo, what do YOU want from me? (I also do clay addons to amiibo for a small extra charge, like the tail in the picture... find it.) I think the custom Pikachu is a LOVELY prize for a raffle and I'll be more than glad to enter whenever you start it ^^
How long should it last? I'd say about a week, maybe more if the attention is a little slow at first. It very well might be in the beginning.
(coming from someone who's done at least a dozen raffles in the year and a half I've been on here)
A good way to get the word out is to put the main raffle post in a journal, and then periodically, like 2-4 times spaced out a day, post an image for it like a small advert. Linking the viewer back to that main hub journal c:

Post the journal in the very beginning, and then post an image about it. Just like the one you have posted now^^^
In the description for said image, put the link back to the journal.
Then leave that image up for a while, delete it, and reupload it again with that same link so that a fresh time zone of people can see it.
Refresh and Repeat.

I think the first guy is right, maybe have watchers only enter? Journals are good but you'll annoy watchers with 2-4 a day, one a day is good I'd think. If I were you I'd post submissions so everyone can see even if they're not watching you
