One of my favorite experiences of reading Neil Gaiman's Sandman was his version of Death who would lovingly take her newest with a flutter of crow wings. It reminded me of a book series I read years ago, where each aspect of the world or quality of a person had a totem animal god. Crow was the aspect of Death, meant to comfort and soothe those who were on the verge of passing on. I always wanted to capture that with my crow form, the invitation, affection and comforting. I happened to run across a lovely set that just happened to look so close to what I had always pictured. While I wait for my sweetheart to finish packing, here's a capture of him in his full outfit.
