What kind of games does she like, while I'm here?

I know I certainly do!

FYS enjoys FPSs, RPGs, point and click adventure, action adventure, Myst-likes, and offbeat indie stuff. Pretty much anything but RTSs and MMOs. ^^

Aww, so no Command and Conquer or World of Tanks? :P
Oh well. I like a few of her set as well ^^

Also no free-to-play under any circumstances! ^_~

She doesn't like the mechanics, and would rather just pay for a game and then own that game. Best case, the game always has its hand out for more money. Worst case, they're horrible games that are just contests to see who can give the devs the most money. Mostly mobile F2P on that last one.

That's just her, though! People can play whatever they like.

She mostly plays with her friends, and when someone else is stupid, she just mutes them and moves on. ^^

She used to, way back in the day! As for Monopoly, she'd want you to move beyond that kind of thing and play Twilight Struggle, Claustrophobia, Dominion, or something like that. ^_~

Ah, the confusing-type things with a lot of little pieces/cards/what have you and a rulebook that technically counts as a novel. I'm up for it, I suppose.

They're more complicated, but in exchange you get a game that's actually fun and engaging. Plus, many of them take less time to play like the bloated classics like Monopoly and Risk. ^_~

A rift? Couldn't she just ask Allison for one? :P

They have to be released first! FYS is an early adopter, so she'll be one of the first to have a CV1, for sure. ^_~

Well, I put my preorder in about 30 seconds after they opened, and I get the feeling FYS would likely do the same. ^_~

I have cyberpunk dreams, Bluehorns! I'll never go to space, the Culture isn't real, I'll probably kick the bucket before we figure out longevity treatments, and practical mind/machine interfaces are way off in the future. If all I can have is VR gaming, then I'm going to grab it with both hands! D:
