Useful and cool concept!
>> The last thing I felt was cold, just a slight cold, maybe it was the last bodily sensation before the extraction of my CNS. Indeed it felt like a mini-death, just as predicted.
I felt like I was floating in a silent and unchanging void, no sensation, no smell, no temperature… only my thoughts to keep me company, lively proof of the adage "I think, therefore I am", after some indeterminate amount of time some drugs wore of, and my thoughts finally became images (more like videos) memories to pass the time (which I did't knew nor could keep).
After an eternity of waiting and thinking (you know… been a literal brain in a jar :) ), there was light an sound! a miracle to behold again! even if it was just a medical lab, a rather hi-tec lab for sure.
Everything looked HD, better than I remembered the first time I was here! Bless trinocular vision.
1st question I asked (with a speaker… somewhere) was —Did it go well?— I asked with slight worry.
—Yes the operation was a success. A healthy CNS in a cyber-brain case.
2nd; —How long was I K.O.?
—An entire week… more than enough time for nano machines to do their work.
>> So… here I am, currently just a brain, a HUD/GUI, a flexing spine and a mobile ceiling arm thingy!
Now we play the waiting game again for my body to be fabricated.
Any advice of any veteran resident cyborg for a cyborg to be?
Comments welcomed as always. Cheers.
