The lighter patches are the chainlink fence I was shooting through. >.> Should have used a bigger aperture or tried to shield the fence from the light with my hand a little better.

Dingos are a bit interesting like that - they look like ordinary dogs, for tbe most part act like ordinary dogs...

... but now and then their demeanour changes, flipped like a lightswitch, and one realises that they have more in common with undomesticated wolves than they do with Fido.


That said, at another wildlife park we had the pleasure of being introduced to two untrained dingos (on leashes), close enough to touch. I'll see if the photos turned out and upload one or two (I was literally taking photos from the hip, crouched beside 'em)

So, like most canids, they're just like domesticated dogs... up to the point when they're not.

I imagine that knowing when that point is is intrinsic to a career in naturalism.

*LMAO* I think I have a dozen photos of dingo's I've taken over the years, and most of them are yawning.... I think that's all the lazy buggers do...
