(Isn't it delightful for us to have friends who visit us from distant quarters?)
merfiller painted this really beautiful artwork in sennelier watercolour as a commissioned artwork by
jcfox. merfiller paints so many of beautiful artworks which express the sceneries of Japan that I have been glad if you could take a look at them at his page, if you were interested in daily lives in Japan because he even expresses the atomosphere of Japan in his artworks.
This is a scenery when
jcfox and
ienikicoon visited Tokyo last Spring. ienikicoon drew a fortune at the "Senso-Ji" in Asakusa though, he was sad to get an oracle of ill luck. I told him to tie it on a twig not to bring the misfortune with him, based upon the Japanese custom.
As of the written oracle ("Omikuji" in Japanese), it does not mean that we would have a bad luck simply because of got a bad fate note. It just tells us to be cautious. I do hope that they enjoyed their trip to Japan, and am looking forward to seeing them soon again.

Spring in Japan, cherry blossoms and fresh verdure. Looks really beautiful. Last year, cherry blossoms were full in bloom on April 2nd in Tokyo.
The long-range weather forecast here says that they will be full in bloom around April 7th this year. April is a Season of baseball in Japan, too. What made me a bit surprised was so many Japaneses like baseball.

Yes, I am glad to see a furson who knows the "Analect of Confucius" in the fandom. It is sad that there has been less people who can read and write
Hanja (Kanji) since around the 70s' in Korea. Yes, we spent a good time to go to the theme park of the "Once Piece", to have a cruising, to enjoy some Japanese cuisines, and so on. Thank you for the comment.
