You shouldn't let other people's lack of response be a demotivator. Real, personally meaningful work can only come out of your own inspiration. I know that's a lot easier to say than to feel, but you really do have to work with what comes out of your own dreams, feelings, needs, longings and unconscious personal symbolism.
