I remember walks like these when I was a kid and hanging out with my friends until dusk during the summer. We'd all have to get home before dinner or else we'd be in serious trouble. I think Rick and BH are old enough now to avoid that kind of worry They're mostly walking because it's warm out and they're on vacation. Nice way to relax.
