I've been dying to color this sketch for ages, so in preparation for FC I dug it out of my piles to color it up! The designs I added to his body reminded me of Maori Tattoos, thus the title. He's supposed to be a white dragon with tattoos, but the pink feet, hands and nose make him look a little fleshy! XD That's ok, I still like him. I added some red Swarovski crystals to snaz him up a little more and make the original look really cool.

I actually Borden & Riley brand Bristol plate, the brand my school store carries. =) It's pretty cheap in comparison to illustration board, but way WAY sturdier than cardstock.
Also check out aquabee brand too. Same sort of surface, a little less thick, and I think cheaper? Not sure since I've always gone through my school store for stuff.

I have that one too! Ive only used it a few times though and I cant decide if I like it for the way I color. my markers tend not to blend as nicely on that surface but Ive only used them on it once so, I guess its hard to say.
I have used strathmore bristol much more often.
Thanks =)
