I've been playing with 3d stuff since you've been submitting these. It's hard to understand at first! D: I do envy these 3d peeps!

*smiles* problem is, her ref-pic does show arctic is more human, not having a canide-like face/head, so i decided not to take the 2 possible and ugly dog-faces i could have used, and only give her a nose that looks animal-like without messing her head totally into something animalistic ^^

Oh sorry if i came off rude or anything! I can also understand how it must be hard to make this kind of image, I rtied myself a few nights back only to get cross with the program and stop trying ;)

I was in a bit of a hurry before ^^;;; hope it didn't bother you too much and it wasn't really a dig at you it was jsut i notice a lot of people either think she is a feline or they jsut draw her like one, rather than her wolfy-ness :) also appreciate that you probably put lots of effort into this and i probably sounded insesitive :)

no fear, i just wanted to give an idea why she looks like that ^^

those programs are migthy, but only as mighty as the stuff you have or maybe even can make yourself ^^
i am VERY proud i was able to make her nose pink ^^; it involved editing an image and replacing the original nose-region with plain pink and removing the rest so it stays white head ^^;

for starting 3d-stuff i suggest daz-studio, its a bit more easy to handle, but not as mighty and compatible to some stuff (especially shaders it seems or importing them without mistakes)

aside of that you should be able to work with paintprograms like photoshop, corel or whatever, to improve the pics you make (i not can say i own this skills)

last but not least, you need content! this means, you most likely need a lot of money (or search for the easy and bad way wich will hurt the makers of content)

there are some tutorials out there, for example at artzone (gallery-page for daz3d, makers of daz-studio) wich can give you a start for loading, posing and rendering. i know all i know form experimenting and reading some tutorials or simply ask people (over at dev-art are some awesome render-people)
