I'm used to the Civilian naming of it. Plus, she should have at least 4 spare magazines. That 5.7MM ammo goes fast.
If you can, next time you are down south, have Kardi take you to a gunshop and see if they have the Civvie model to handle, gives you a real size comparison and feel for it. I've educated many an artist about firearm size and handling that way if they feature something like that.

Actually, their technology is exactly like ours. :D All the items described here in this poster are actual objects you can find today, circa 2011. I'm glad you noticed the modification to the bike helmet, though! And the little sticker on the purple Nintendo DS case is none other than Rapidash, from the Pokemon game series! :D
interesting details to all the stuffs there.
Ali seems to be a "Holy Diver". at löeast it looks like a neoprene jacket thing to me.
also, you shed some thoughts into how a sunvisor would fit an animal-shaped head; not many artists bother to.
ankle supports, old Nokia celphone (to even out the distance between ears and larynx/mouth better, also good for large hands), hoof cleaner and furbrush, bicycle multitool... very nice. what is that little box right of the laptop? also, the car keys look like they belong to an older Honda. a 98 Civic, maybe?
interesting idea, and as we all can see, a good one, too. :)

Hm, I don't understand the context of 'Holy diver'?
Ah, and the little box is one of these: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images.....uL._SY355_.jpg <<--- Ali carries these around for Alex, to discourage him from smoking. ;)
And yes, the big car key is actually for Alex's car! He drives an 89 Accord, so you were right on the Honda fob, at least! :D
I'm glad you like it! There will be more on the way!

oh, nevermind. :) I'm a metalhead, and sometimes I think in song and/or album titles, making connections that shouldn't be there... which then, in this case, connects to this classic metal album: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/BVr-Jp_hl9c/.....resdefault.jpg
interestingly enough the actual lyrics are more abstract and full of metaphors.
said jacket looked like a diver's gear to me, is all. ^^
ah, I see. good thing I never smoked, so I won't have to chew those sticks. ;)
ah, Accord is close enough. looked like one of those curious keys to me with that hinge. no idea what that one is good for... were people supposed to fold them down before shving the key into a pocket? tsk.
(myself I'm a Fordoholic with a classic 1974 Ford Taunus under my butt. and no, that's not a typo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Taunus_TC )

indeed! we nickname it "Knudsen-Taunus" because Semon E. Knudsen's curious habit to fool around with car designs became way too apparent there. car testers back when lamented the collection of design tinsel and everything... they still sold a bit over one million units in five model years. not too many are left these days, and some spare parts are very hard to come by, especially interior pieces. but that won't make me go somewhere else. sitting down into my car is like coming home... every other brand is just an old car. :)
I am not sure, but the english version, Cortina Mk3, might have been sold in canada. at least Ford of Argentina built themselves a Taunus up into mid-80's. including a fastback variant of the Mk5 that wasn't built anywhere else...
