I'm sorry I realized that I expressed myself wrongly.
I liked that evolution of the story too and besides it actually matches with the fact that in the "mirror universe" story arc the good Sombra turned evil.
What really disappointed me of the story was that there is a huge missing part; what happened to the group Hope assembled for her revival of Sombra (I mean Flim&Flam, Iron Will, and Lightining Dust). As for Chrysalis we already know that she'll probably get back but I can't help to wonder about he other guys, most of all Iron Will.
Also I have been wondering something lately: if in the regular MLP universe King Sombra has reformed and the good guys have won, logic would dictate that in the "Mirror Universe" the once good Sombra may have turned completely evil and defeated his opponents (The evil then redeemed version of Princess Celestia and Luna). This could lead to some interesting evolution, don't you think?

Yes, I know the comic sort of feels rushed and certain details are absent, but a comic book is more limited in how much story you can fit into one issue than you can into one television episode. My guess is the main plot of "Siege of The Crystal Empire" made King Sombra the main focus.
