I've been pondering tomorrow's comic for 5 hours and I still don't know what the plot will be, but I was sure it would have Rufus. Holy crap I've never drawn Rufus. Spent a few of those hours simply honing his look. This is the 9th sketch. The others are very unfinished and look like shit.
That hair was like that since the first sketch, except some in the middle when I tested taller hair. Taller hair actually made him look a little cooler, so I went back to short hair.
I know I decided on Rufus's last name several years back, but I have no idea what it was. It's not important yet, thankfully.

Edit: Also, that's not a pouch, or at least a natural one. Roo pants are usually custom-made, as they have to take the tail into account. Oftentimes, the pants will go on around the tail instead of the legs. Other times, they're tied on like an apron.
