I have a thing for extreme close-ups of eyes, and this one just might be the most expressive one I've ever done. The bloodshot veins, the shadow cast by the eyelid, the direction it's pointed. All of it comes together to make something powerful.
This was actually my Skype avatar for a while but I stopped using it because one of my friends kept getting freaked out by it, and I can't entirely blame them. I did my best to make this look creepy, and I like to think I succeeded.

not alot of images unsettle my quite like this. I usually find eyes the most bearable when they are disembodied or lifeless, and yet this close-up still looks so piercing, as if it can really see me. I hate when eyes meet and focus. when I can see them seeing me. it reminds me that I'm dirty. filthy. ugly.
