so in another world. next to a valley within the hills and just a hours walk from town, is a place where a dragon has set up his home.
This dragon however, had the idea of doing things differently, he didnt isolate himself ,hording treasure and jsut leaves his cave to hunt and pillage. instead he learnt to tinker and enchant, and began to make his own magical curiosities to trade for money and other magical or hi-tech items. his trade reached far and wide, until he set it up his own portal so he can get some otherworldly business with even more strange items coming and going,

during these trips, he encountered many people and creatures of all shapes and sises, one of them ended up following him home, having nowhere elce to go nod findign anywhere elce he can fit i., he figured he can convince the dragon to let him live in his layer by offering him a very rare and vary strange thing himself.

So he took the lizard looking creature in, he helped around the place, using his unique bodies abilities to help, after a while the dragon did some experiments with him, and eventually did experiments together.

they really grew on each other, and open the dragons eyes to having others around the place , for both work and companionship, so when one very curious android , who once was a AI came to trade. he admitted to looking a place to set up himself, the dragon
made a offer to him, if he can help in his business, he can organize a part of the lair for him.

the android lizard not only took the place, but spent the time using some advance pieces of technology, he created more tunnels and rooms in the cave, installing proper doors, power and other utilities, and eventually turned the lair into a small apartment complex carved right out of the stone.

this point the lair became more open, quite a few visitors have came on gone, sometimes staying for a day or two , sometimes a few months, the atmosphere the dragon managed set up in his lair is special, where it feal liek someone can open up alot and let the deeper side of themselves out, because everyone else already is. lair mates, sharing things, helping out, allowing themselves to be experiments for the others, and so on.

two others since then have set up a home in the lair. they are hybrids one became that way willingly, wanted to try being a new species, and as part of that, live a new live, even with the limitations his new body brings. and the other was born as two separate creatures and became one by otherworldly means, inheratign the powers and personalities of both who lives here because she can fit in, even with her... habits.

and finally from all the strange experiments the dragon and the lizard did those years ago, not knowing the true nature of the creature he was living with, a new merger creature was born, same species as the lizard but the shape of the dragon. he is mature now, but with his abilties no where near as good as the lizards, he still has a lot to learn.
