Huh. Turns out OpenCanvas runs at an acceptable speed on my Mac under Crossover. No pressure-sensitivity, the palettes don't properly float over that giant ugly grey window, and I shudder to think what kind of nightmare networking might become, but maybe now I can do some kind of silly collaborative drawing with some of y'all someday. Probably while drunk. Drop me a private message with your IM info and maybe I'll ping you some lazy evening saying HEY WANNA OC.

Though the lack of pressure sensitivity is a real mood-killer. I'll end up feeling like i'm back in the DPaint days. Or maybe I'l just do like I did here and break out the crosshatching mode I haven't been in since before I discovered Illustrator.

Anyway, I scribbled this little doodle of Absinthe out direct in OC with no plan. All with its pencil tool, one layer under another layer full of loose sketch if you're curious.
