aaah.. the child that had the honour of bringing a name to this account. Rhinestone is meant to be a somewhat accurate representation of myself- or at least before I changed the colour and style of my hair, grew more as a person and started to branch out and be confident with myself and my art around others. While I was making these subtle changes I barely touched Rhinestone's design and every time I looked at it I'd start to hate it more and more. I ran changes to her colour palettes, I tried new hair styles, I tried adding more markings, etc etc. What I found was that I couldn't bring myself to change her into something completely different, she was still a part of me and that's how she's going to stay. Here all I was revamp her colours from saturated mocha brown, navy teal and cyan and brought it down into a combination that doesn't burn the eyes too much. I also evened out her hair and how it falls into it's green colouring. For finishing touches I made her wrist, ankle and thigh markings seem more natural (or at least I tried).

Rhinestone is a Sableshifter, an incredibly small (closed) shapeshifting species that inhabit the world of Aerth, some venture into our world and become Domestics. Sableshifters are powered by the gem set into their chest, and to power the gem means taking souls of both Aerthians and Humans alike. They do this by shapeshifting themselves into something adorable/charming to the victim's tastes, and once they begin to fall for the little shifter, they will revert their forms and sap the vulnerable soul from their prey.
