Some more wood burning!!
This was an experiment, hence the title. My grandfather recently acquired a book about wood burning and it showed how to use watercolors on a wood burning and I was like...I NEED TO TRY THIS! Mainly because I am not happy with how the oil pencils look on the wood burnings. Some people can do a very nice job...but me...it looks like crap. I didn't want it to seem so odd, the color I mean, and thought of a wash...which was what i wanted to do for my other 2 Amy Brown fairies but was unaware of how to go about doing it. So..I picked another Amy Brown Fairy to test out the watercolor approach and this is what came of it. I bought this little 5X7 square piece of wood at "Wally-World" and went to town. I am quite pleased. *nods* So I thought I would share it all with you!
