Some background that you may or may not be interested in: These are 3 friends who were sent to this alt time realm to give Wistia some more time to train. Wistia is a Gypsy girl who was shunted to the future, switching places with her present self, Sykes.
Sykes is a troubleshooter/adventurer. She deals with things, and monsters.
Inhuman and human. Her main talent is after touching an artifact of power, she can understand and wield them as if she was the owner. In her time, she has quite a collection, and will trade things or collect them as need be.
Sykes is well over 200+ years old.
But through a trick of mementic access, a being of power that she had forgotten she had dealt with as a child, was able to switch her old self and her younger self for a period of time when that memory was accidently unlocked.
So a young, cockney, very out of place Wistia was in her place.
After initial confusion, those who knew sykes felt that her younger self needed to be trained, and taught. (and get rid of that godawful accent of hers)
And so she was sent to a monster school that exists just outside of current reality.
During that time there, she was trained as a ninja, as well as learning other academics.
Of the people on campus, there's a crafter and a timelord, Tita Kronovitch. The crafter, with Tita's help, creates a pocketwatch that when activated, creates a set point in time, at which when a second click is done, returns the user to that first point set. As a result, Wistia was able to learn and grow quickly in a short period of time. Any fights or altercations she got into, she was able to backtrack when things went wrong, and redo them over and over again till she got them right.
This also helped when her boyfriend, Kevin stopped by on weekends, and the two of them had fun, and she forgot to study. So she could go back, study, maybe have a little more fun, and be ready by the following Monday.
Eventually however, the watch was running out, and breaking, as a result of being used to much.
Tita took the watch back, but when Kevin shows up with Noa and Enker to help wistia get through her final weekend, and likely have to return to her own time, an older version of Tita shows up, and at their request for more time and training, removes them to a time out of time. A steampunk like realm where a nasty dictator was ousted by 4 heros.
The 4 of them take the place of these lost heros, and are given free reign.
Since it's a place that no longer exists, no one there has any souls, they can do whatever they want without repercussions.
Kevin does his best to try and be the person in charge, being benevolent, even if this realm is outside of it all, he doesn't want to take advantage of them.
Wistia however, wants to live, and learn, and so she wants to learn how to drive one of the flitters they have.
So she takes it out, Noa and Enker going with her.
If you've ever ridden with someone who is learning to drive, imagine how it'd be if they were in a vehicle that flies and drives like a boat in the air.
*****
The group manages to make a stop earlier, and do some quick shopping before heading back up again.
Noa asks wistia to PLEASE let someone else take over driving duties as she is NOT happy with this scraping and banging, but wistia tells her "Relax! I goit this!" reverting to her cockney accent.
The flitter having been banged up several times already, officals try and keep them from doing more damage. Wistia thinks they just along for support, and when they try and box her in, she messes with the controls, the craft does a quick dive before bottoming out the ground, bouncing once and pretty much killing the ground suspension system. Wistia cranks the engine and the flitter lurches forward at high speed while still on the street, undercarriage scraping sparks before she gets the flying system working lurches back into the air once again, narrowly missing hitting ground level cats and pedestrians. Noa is praying to gods she didn't even know she knew. In one of the lead official flitters, the sgt shouts
"ODDS BLOODS! Can't you keep up with her lad?"
"I'm trying sir, but she's just to unpredictable"
The officers are trying to keep up and wistia says "oh look! we've got a parade!"
They try again to get her to land, the drivers pointing to the ground.
Wistia looks down at where they're pointing and says "OH! Mr Fizzlewicks Crumpet shop! How do I *CRRRUUUUNNNNKGGGGGCHCHCHCHHH)...!!! Oops, okay, maybe we can stop by there later... and fix the sign. SORRRYYYY! But that was nice of them to point that out to us."
The frazzled shopkeeper runs out to see what's just happened and
"OCH! MINE SCINE! OHHH NOOOOooooo"
as wistia's flitter limps off with the crumpet shop sign still attatched to the back wheel...
until it falls off a block later. With the wheel.
rrooowwwwwwWWWWLLL!

Note: Dragen has been major cool, and worked on converting the vid to this to something watchable on youtube. Here's the link to the page on here. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7325546/

Dragen is going through some capped vid of that, and if he can cover the bootydoc logo and reference pics without to much work, he'll post an 8x version of fred in the process of making this.
I screencapped this like a mother****, and will probably post some in the scraps. I don't wanna overdo it, but several do show how he does the process of what he does.
The part I find fascinating yet confusing is the creating your own color palate, as well as the process for insta shading he does.
(darkening the image then masking off parts he wants highlighted, then clicking the mask layer and it highlights JUST that chara in the masks he's laid out.)

I've done the same for mine (screencapping) and watching Fred's process has been a great way to improve my own attempts at coloring. Not that I can properly imitate what he does, but watching him work has been invaluable to figuring out my own process and ways of making things less flat and more vibrant. The way he makes his color palette fascinates and eludes me as well (not helped by having no sense for clashing colors and whatnot).
Do you know where Dragen is thinking of sharing that video? It'd be a great resource to have bookmarked or saved.

He wants to upload to a youtube channel, but the problem is he needs to block out the bootydoc icon, and a couple of reference pictures that would flag any video as mature.
We're currently trying to figure how to do this by trying to make a 'watermark' icon over the constant one, and a pop up one on the images when they come up.
But neither of us has much experience with video editing.
I need to up and put a whole new HD on this machine as the current one is chock full, so video editing on it is impossible. (literally only have 11 gigs free right now, and that's cause I went through and nuked some stuff. Probably gonna try and remove the WoW folder or uninstall it and hope blizz doesn't force a reinstall. That should free up a good 33 gigs right there.
Kicking myself for not upgrading the HD while I could still get win7 easy. I am NOT... NOT going to go to win8 or 10. At all)

Meh, didn't work.
Tried to copy paste the code for embedded vid, which allows people to view the 'questionable content' from tube, doesn't seem to work here.
Well, there's a trick if any of you want to know it to view said content on tube.
If you remove the watch? and replace the = with a /,you'll get a link that goes directly to the video without the rest of the YouTube site, and it'll play full-width in your browser.
Okay, very nice work on the vid.
