Star Wars Commission for
CubiKitsune
-Yes, I realize this is late. The title is to keep all similar pics with the same title-
I actually did a Star Wars pic of this same character this year but the commissioner decided he wanted a second one and this time instead of lightsabers, he wanted force lightning as an option. It was fun working with the same character in a slightly different feeling/emotion in the piece, a bit more concentration on this pic, as well as a bit more deviousness. Super fun!
Enjoy!

This is lovely....buuuuuut(and yeah I'm going to be that guy)only the sith wield force lightning. Apparently it's a hate generated ability. The reason we never see Darth Vader use(except for one panel in an OLD comic issue)is that it can only be channeled through organic limbs. This guy looks rather Jedi to me. I'M SORRY!!!! It's my little nerd inside me that won't let this go
Depends on who you ask actually. Because if you're going with straight canon as of right now, yes. But if you include the Star Wars "Legends" information, which was books and comics before The Force Awakens was made, then you can have this information as well: "Force lightning ability was not restricted to dark-siders. Jedi and other light-siders who were strong of will and character could learn this power without falling to the dark side—but its use was viewed as inherently corrupting, and most Jedi Councils forbade its use." So yes, a powerful Jedi could learn it, but the training of it and use of it was forbidden by the council, it doesn't mean that they couldn't still do it. :P
