Ah it's been a long time since I've done one of these! Well over a year in fact! And if anyone is truly interested, I will be offering these in commission form very soon, but first I have to get a few other things ready!
Even though it's pretty quick, this is definitely the longest animation I've done, 10 frames! There are definitely a few things that don't quite look the way they look in my head but I'm still definitely happy with what I've got!
Now, you could probably guess that I didn't actually draw the fire. The reason the fire looks so different compared to the animation is because it's actually a particle effect that I added over top of the animation itself using a graphics engine I made a while back! In simpler terms, I'm basically adding video game effects to it!
Anyway, this Valek here might be familiar to those who have looked back in my gallery! You can actually find him right here! I was originally going to call him Sagre but then I realized that that's literally the exact Japanese pronunciation for sergals (I think).
Unfortunately, his story is not too developed as I've been working on other projects lately. I just figured he would work so very wonderfully with this sort of animation style!
