This song... man, where to start.
This song is by one of the most talented musicians, nicest human beings (and coyotes!), and tallest (sorry :p ) guys I have ever met. I had the honour of sharing a stage with him back in 2014 when I was in the States and this is the song that first really got me into his music.
It is of course by the one and only
peppercoyote , I'm sure you're well aware of him :3
I urge you to go and check him out, he has quite a few albums and they're all brilliant. You can also listen to the (far superior) original version here: http://lookleft.us/
I remember being a part of a panel he was running and him explaining to us that this is one of the few songs he has written as a commission, and that essentially it is a eulogy for someone's sister who unfortunately committed suicide, and I think that adds so much more depth to the song. Its beauty stuns at every live performance and I have to say it's one of my desert Island discs.
All I can say is I hope my rendition does the original proud, and that I added my own twist on it.
Thank you for the music, Pepper, I look forward to when we can next see each other and hopefully do some collaborating.
