I've been staring at the amazing art of Nambroth that I favorited, trying to figure out how she did the white on the dragonettes and in general being utterly awed by her work. She's not taking commissions, so I figured I would dust off Corel Painter and see what happened if I tried to get Zal done.
His body became strangely elongated, but eh, it happens. He's also a little lax on the details, just because I didn't want to kill myself. I figured this would be a day project, and I tried to keep it to that (for the sake of my damnable thesis XD).
It's nowhere near what Nambroth can do, but you don't get better if you don't try, right? <_<. Anyone who's not seen her work should really, really go check it out.

Haha well right now I'm taking this intense 4 day course on leadership to get a credit out of the way. Then since I got so much out of the way last semester I'll be cruising through the rest of the year with 4 day weekends every week. I'm hoping to get into an English class just for fun but I have to submit a manuscript on the first day so I'm not confident I'll get in...

Nice! As of now I've got classes Monday/Wednesday only. That doesn't include thesis or the TA thing though, but still! :D We should party on our respective elongated weekends ;)
What English class? 2800? Creative writing? :D I think you'll make it. I loved your prompt last week.

I *hated* 3830. :( It was incredibly disappointing because there was a very narrow ideal that the professor's wanted and no room to deviate without getting eaten by the teacher/classmates. ;-; Who was your teacher? I've heard some people enjoyed it - maybe it was a professor issue.
