If you cross your eyes, it has a good 3D affect, just make sure to move your face away from your screen a bit~ ^v^

Not sure! Its from a museum in London, that's all I know!

Ah, then yes, it is probably a large star sapphire... Google tells me it is about 88 ct.

Looks like the inner rim on the caustic refraction and the upper most highlight on the gem needed a little more intensity, Noise reduction from the original image is nice.
