Ooo! I remember this. It was and still is epic. I am equally impressed by your ability to remember their designs - I know I definitely could not accurately draw most Pokemon from my brainpan alone. Kind-of-sort-of, but I'd for sure wind up being fairly off the mark. And yes, holy rocking poses. I love Jolteon's most. :D
I had like... this amazing life drawing teacher last semester. Taking that and a 3D modeling course really helped me start to think in dimensional space and learn how to make volume marks inside the outlines and do rotations and stuff. We only drew humans in class but it all carries over. Uh... I guess try some books on classical drawing? Michelangelo and the like?
