It was a pretty surreal thing to hear, that your own reincarnation traveled through time and is face to face with you. I have admit, I have thought about the possibility of past and future lives. Never did I actually think they actually existed, or that something like this can happen. I suppose weirder things can happen, this is such an odd world we live in. It's probably best that I don't ask questions. I'll take everything as it is and won't question anything. Things might be interesting depending on how long he decides to stick around.

"Kaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~" After having lost my feeling of dread not too long ago, it was back. That high pitched voice could only belong to my brother, Hikaru. How could I explain me being curled up against a complete stranger, how could I explain Eri? I panicked and jolted up and away from Eri, trying to play it cool as he came into view.

"Hiya, Sis!" He greeted with the same enthusiasm as always. "I was wondering what was taking you so long to track down the stran-" He stopped mid sentence as he finally noticed the towering Flareon. "Oh! Is this the guy? He sure is pretty big and...hmm?" Hikaru scrunched up his face a little, as if he was deep in thought. For a Pokemon who was always cheerful and never thought too hard about things, it was pretty unusual. "Hey, aren't you...." He trained off, still looking like he was concentrating deeply.

Eri spoke up first, "Oh, it's you. You remember me, then?" He sounded a little surprised, which was odd given that he seemed to be nonchalant about most everything else. Have they met already?

Hikaru wagged his tail with gusto and bounded towards Eri, "So it is it is it is it is you!!!" Eri crouched down to meet the Glaceon's embrace, "You've gotten bigger!" Hikaru exclaimed, Eri's face almost twice as big as his own.

Eri grinned, "You've gotten a bit bigger too! Good to see you're alright then. Surprised you still remembered me after all these years then."

"Of course I do! You really helped me a lot back then, you literally saved me. If it wasn't for you, I couldn't be with my sis like I am now." Hikaru's voice cracked towards the end of his sentence and his tone became more solemn, "Thanks, Eri."

Slightly off to the distance, I could no longer hold my thoughts in.

"What. The. Fuck?"

A NEW CHALLENGER HAS APPEARED. It was only a matter of time before lil ol' jolly Hikaru joined in the fun. And it looks like he's got some history with Eri too. What's up with that?
