first off..
I AM SO PROUD FO THIS IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY.

the background is somewhat.. off, but it has a few firsts for me, that i'm SUPER happy about.

(well, given how depressed I am, how happy i CAN be.)
I actually did.. mmmost of this today. Started it last wednesday, just a sketch,a nd playign around with my micron brush pen.

i REALLY like how the larger tree came out.

this was my first time makign an effort to REALLY paitn water. . .

.. andi also like the use of the texture.

the original had a LOT of bold colors, and if you like, i can upload it to scraps- But i kidna wanted a watercolor look, so i put the canvas texture behind the picture and went form there, int he end collapsed all the layers and ran a 50% eraser over it..

i like how it came out :3

this is a gift for  softpaw of her two characters, Natasha and her older brother, Felix- they look like they're probably somewhere in their middle teens- at least, felix does, anyway- enjoying an afternoon down by the river.

the background doesn't.. QUITE look like their home, Lupinia, but I suppose it'll have to do :3
