FURSUIT HEAD
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the head of the fursuit. If you are reviewing only a set of ears, your answers would also go in this section.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your fursuit.
Are you satisfied with how it fits you? How is the ventilation? How is the vision?
Not at all satisfied.
The opening is way too tight and is a struggle to get on and off. I need to take ear piercings out before attempting to put it on. It is quite snug inside and it is heavy. The ears are shaved weirdly, making them look as though they don’t really belong on the head when seen from the back. Also, one tooth fell out at a light touch and another has since fallen out.
My eyes sit right at the bottom of the suit eyes, unless I wear the head wrong (making it look as though I’m permanently looking downwards). Because of this, there is a green haze over everything and it is slightly blurry. Other than that, there is no huge blind spot (only a small ish one).
It is heavy and there is very little ventilation. The muzzle is solid except for a tiny slit.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your fursuit piece looks from the outside.
How is the symmetry? Is the shaving even? How does the fur feel and look? How satisfied are you with the overall expression and appearance of the head? Does it match the concept art?
The only thing that stands out as not being symmetrical is the hair, which is quite wonky and made from an oddly shaped tuft of fur.
The shaving seems even enough. The main problem is the ears. They go straight to short fur. So there is no smooth transition from the head to the ears. The light grey fur goes onto where the dark grey and green/blue should be and is long, which is in sharp contrast to the rest of the ear. They are also extremely rigid, making storage difficult.
It matches the concept art.
I am mostly satisfied with the expression and overall appearance of the head, aside from the ears.
Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
What are they and how do they work? How easy are they to wear? How is the quality?
The maker initially said that they would be using UV reactive fur for parts.
I just checked and this is not the case.
BODYSUIT
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the body of the fursuit.
If you are reviewing armsleeves or legs/pants that are seperate from a bodysuit, your answers would also go in this section.
(Appendages, such as hands, feet, tails, etc., are discussed later.) Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your fursuit.
How satisfied are you with how the body fits? How is the quality and durability? What is the interior like? How is the airflow?
I cannot even zip it up without fear of busting a seam. It was made too small for me.
The leg and arm lengths are correct (although a little tight) but the torso length is too short, making it really hard to get into and giving me virtually no movement.
I have already found a few holes on the body where the maker has stitched too close to the fur. Resulting in holes.
I can hardly move without fear of completely destroying the suit.
The interior is lined with some sort of tights in the legs and is otherwise unlined. It is not messy on the inside.
Airflow is average. There is little airflow in the legs as there is a lot of padding down there.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your fursuit piece looks from the outside.
How is the symmetry? Is the shaving even? How does the fur feel and look? How satisfied are you with the selection of colors and materials used?
It looks good from the outside. the fur feels nice and soft.
I am satisfied with the appearance
Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your bodysuit has. This includes UV reactivity, EL wire, uniquely placed squeakers or padding, clothing made specifically for the fursuit, or anything that is sewn into the bodysuit.
(Appendages, such as tails, wings, hands, and feet, are discussed later.)
What are the features and how do they work? How easy are they to wear? How is the quality?
There are tights/underarmour legs sewn in.
It is a little tight, but wearable.
HANDS AND FEET
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the hands and feet of the fursuit.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your fursuit.
How satisfied are you with how the hands and feet fit? How is the quality and durability? What is the interior like?
I am completely dissatisfied with the hands and feet.
The feet are uncomfortable, very heavy and a claw fell off one at a light touch.
The tops of the feet dig into my feet.
The left hand does not fit me at all due to an injury. The maker was made completely aware of this and made no accommodation.
The right hand fits, but is kind of tight.
The interior looks good.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your fursuit pieces look from the outside.
How is the symmetry? Is the shaving even? How does the fur feel and look? How satisfied are you with the selection of colors and materials used?
I am satisfied with the symmetry. Though the hands should not be identical due to my injury.
The shaving on the finger tips is choppy/sharp. The fur seems to just end at the finger tips, like they've gotten scissors and cut the fur short that way.
The fur feels and looks good.
The colours are great.
Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your hands or feet have. This includes UV reactivity, EL wire, uniquely placed squeakers or padding, or any special articulation.
This can also include special ways of attachment to the bodysuit if they were not described elsewhere, such as: special hands with holes, magnet attachment, etc.
What are the features and how do they work? How easy are they to wear? How is the quality?

TAILS
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the tail(s) of the fursuit.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your fursuit.
How satisfied are you with how the tail(s) fit? How is the quality and durability?
I am satisfied with the tail, for the most part. It holds its shape well and its straps hold its weight.
The only problem I have with the tail is that it holds its shape using an aluminium core. I would have preferred foam.
Due to the aluminium, it is hard to sit down. The only problem with putting it on is due to the body suit being too tight.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your fursuit pieces look from the outside.
How is the symmetry? Is the shaving even? How does the fur feel and look? How satisfied are you with the selection of colors and materials used?
I am satisfied with the appearance.
It does look a little lumpy from some angles due to the aluminium core.
Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your tail(s) have. This includes UV reactivity, EL wire, uniquely placed squeakers or padding, special articulation, or anything else unique if it wasn't covered previously.
What are the features and how do they work? How easy are they to wear or use? How is the quality?

OVERALL VISUAL SATISFACTION
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with the overall visual aspects associated with the fursuit. How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?
If there was no concept art, please state N/A
Very satisfied, though I had to get a few things changed due to being made slightly wrong.
How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
Everything seems to match up really nicely.
MAKER INTERACTION AND COMMISSION PROCESS
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with all the aspects of communication between you and the maker. How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Satisfied.
Initial contact was easy.
How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
I was not at all satisfied.
After they received the DTD, I tried to contact them repeatedly over a few months. I had to resort to publicly posting on their facebook wall.
Afterwards, response time was average.
How satisfied are you with the level of professionalism and friendliness of the maker?
Were they pleasant to work with?
They were not pleasant to work with.
They were to start with, but got really rude when I wanted aspects of the suit changed.
They made an error with the nose colour and the ear markings. When I asked them to change this, they were rude about it, stating I was wrong.
They were rude about all my problems with the suit. Blaming almost everything on me.
How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project?
Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
Deadlines were downright refused on multiple occasions. It was hinted that my suit would be completed by my birthday and also "in the next few months" several times. None of these "deadlines" were met. When I tried to make deadlines several times after being unhappy with the time it was taking, they were refused. Eventually they agreed to a deadline of Dec 1 2015 that they did meet.
How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
Dissatisfied.
Claws and teeth have fallen out. There are holes. Ventilation is bad.
How satisfied are you with the overall customer service with the maker?
Completely dissatisfied.
The maker was repeatedly rude and made excuses as to why my suit wasn't being worked on and why things were wrong.
Describe your experience. What were the pros and cons of working with this maker? And any final comments?
I was completely dissatisfied with this suit and the process of getting it. It is an utter disappointment.
It took 16 months to complete, in which time the maker completed another commissioner’s suit in the space of a month (and they paid long after me). The maker was rude and broke their TOS regularly, which resulted in me making my own TOS and having him agree to them. He broke that TOS multiple times too.
The maker was hard to work with, rude and gave excuses as to why the ear markings and nose colour were done wrong (This has since been fixed), even stating that makers don’t need to use the dropper tool to get the correct colour.
I had to fight to get my suit completed on multiple occasions.
The final product was a complete disappointment. Not only did it not fit, but the quality was sub par. When this was bought to the attention of the maker, I was blamed for the body not fitting, they refused to acknowledge flaws in the quality.
I have been blocked on both facebook and Furaffinity so no further communication can occur.

I am so happy this review was finally posted. :)
I've been following everything you've posted about them on Tumblr and Facebook, and I'm just as outraged.
They were VERY unprofessional and rude towards you.
It's a shame you had to go through so much crap just to get your suit from them. :/
Beware well-warranted. What a shame. Their suits are beautiful but they definitely need to improve and work on their customer service.
Hopefully they will take this review to heart and improve on their customer service/quality!

Yeah, I got suspended for an entire month because my previous review linked to my evidence :/ So I was unable to post!
Next on my list of "places to post to" is the LiveJournal Artist_Beware page.
It's funny you say that, coz I've had one or two people say I'm the one in the wrong.
Ah well, can't show some people!
Their suits definitely ARE aesthetically pleasing for the most part, which was the main reason I commissioned them in the first place. They only need a small amount of work to get up to scratch but I think their main problem is the way that they treat/deal with customers. "The customer is always right" may not always be true, but it's best not to piss them off as it can result in things like this!
If they had've come to the table to sort out this mess, I wouldn't have posted such negative reviews. But an all round negative experience certainly warrants an all round negative review!!

That's ridiculous, as it was a legit review! I was really outraged about that more than anything.
And I'd DEFINITELY go to Artists_Beware. People definitely need to be made aware of how badly and horrible you were treated. It's not even my suit and I'm completely livid.
I don't think you're in the wrong. You were treated like dirt. And people need to be made aware. Or else they're gonna commission them and not know about their infamous history.
I've had no interactions with Blix personally, but he tried to add me on Facebook at one point and I denied immediately. From what I saw, he was very unprofessional to customers and would be fueling a lot of drama which in turn made me block him.
I actually used to be friends with Darby, as she used to be local to me, until she moved up to New York. And she was super sweet and nice, until she partnered up with Blix. Then she completely changed. Pretty much did a 360 overnight. She's essentially blind to the way Blix really is and will defend him and throw the "lol basic drama furries" argument up. It makes me really sad. I ended up blocking her too.
I just really hope they change for the better. There's absolutely NO NEED to go around yelling insults and profanities at customers, or even harassment. They have a lot of potential. They just need to work on it.
I am so sorry you had to go through this. I saw your Tumblr post and I was absolutely horrified and outraged at your experience.
I am hoping akkiria will step up and post her review about them too, as she also had a terrible experience.

It was a legit review, but as the screenshots used his name, they counted that as "phishing for personal information".. or something.
There was also a count of harassment because other people were linking it on his postings of my suit (So Idk why that counted, as I was doing no harassing. I guess because I didn't put a massive disclaimer of "PLEASE DON'T CONTACT THIS PERSON". There was also "linking to inappropriate content"
But bam. First offence upgraded to 7th for the "phishing for personal information" section. Though I didn't post his address/phone number or anything. Ah well. What's done is done and this review shouldn't be taken down.
I agree entirely. But some others don't... Apparently I'm a "drama queen" and "toxic" and just starting drama for no reason.
Kinda rustles my jimmies. I mean, $2000USD isn't "no reason/nothing". And I'm from Australia so it was even more in Australian dollars. I could buy a cheap car with that kind of money!
I also used to be friends with Blix, until all this.
As you said, they have a lot of potential. They just need to treat their customers a hell of a lot better, work on their turn around time and listen to customer's critiques/complaints, rather than sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending not to hear it. If they did that, and worked hard, they'd actually be well worth commissioning. As it is, it's not worth the hassle, let alone the end product.
Yeah, Akki should get their butt into gear and post more reviews. As should a few others who have come forward. The more people that do, the more likely they are to actually improve.
Here's hoping!

Thank you for your attention.
I can't believe this. I am so sorry you had to deal with this disgustingly unprofessional behavior from this person, ESPECIALLY given the quality and price of your suit.
Thank you for making a post of this, more people need to know as this is a fairly well known maker.
Such a shame. You never blame the customer for your own friggin mistakes.

Even if it were my mistake, and the Duct Tape I used was not the correct type, a simple "Hey! we think you've used the wrong duct tape. Would you mind sending us measurements/a new DTD with /this/ duct tape so we can make sure your measurements are right" would have completely avoided this problem. That and getting measurements for hands, head and feet xD. I'd have been more than happy to get those things for them and give them an extension on the deadline to make up for time lost with postage. Instead I was just told "never use electrical tape ever again" and given no reason why. That and I did use duct tape so I'm not really sure what actually went wrong.
But oh well. Not much I can do now.

Glad it have been posted here.
Also on the ducktape, I found a ductape pattern of a sockpaw I made over a year ago. if it haven't been for that i wrote on the pattern I would have no idea as it had shrunk not even close to half of my foot in size(it was just a lump of ducktape). That was the classic silver colored ducktape many uses. so it it is not stuffed or stored right it shrinks like crazy.

Well, it'd be nice if FUZZWORKS could figure that out.
Did you use PVC free duct tape?
Because apparently "duct tape doesn't shrink!" So I've been blamed for my body not fitting. Even though they had my DTD for 7 months. Time enough for it to shrink.
It's interesting that it "shrunk" but the legs are the right size. The torso inc the shoulder width is what is wrong.
Makes me suspicious, tbh

Yeah. So why do I keep getting blamed for the DTD shrinking when I used duct tape??
I don't understand!
Heaps of people (who have obviously seen the snippets of conversation that the maker has posted) are all hating on me going "you used electrical tape".
I actually had to take photos of me holding the goddann duct tape before most people would lay off

Thanks.
I hope this encourages others to come forward, TBH.
A lot of people have come to me with similar stories and all I can think is "why didn't you post reviews???".
I had a brief look around when I first commissioned them and I didn't find any reviews. If I had've seen even one review like this, I would have thought twice!

To be frank i find it kind of uhm "drama mongering" of the makers to make your suit their featured submission on their page and how they deleted any and all negative comments on it :/ like literally thats just rude and disrespectful of them and it seems like they are trying to start something... But it is a nice looking suit, sorry about the mal treatment you didn't deserve :c
Report them to the FA staff that they have images of your intellectual and personal property you want removed from their page, its how i took care of someone who commissioned me forced a charge back then posted the images on their page, it may not remove the pics from their comps but you can request that your personal and copyrighted charcters and art commissioned or otherwise be removed from others pages. I dunno if it will work but you can always try
