samaranerd. Her dog, Buddy. I had a cocker spaniel named Lady in the past who looked similar (I have another now back at my parents' house named Fred, actually), and in the sketching stage before I got far enough into making it look like Samaranerd's dog, it.. actually gave me a little bit of emotional trouble. |D; Lady passed away the Friday before Christmas in my eighth grade year. I could probably use that to find an actual date fairly quickly, but I'd rather not.
This is also my first serious pet portrait.

I've just finished watching the animation several times and wow! It's great to see how other artists do their stuff, i've learnt alot :>. That's so sad about Lady, I lost my Alice in April, dogs are such great companions. My dad had a cocker spaniel that saved his life :). I especialy love the fur you did round the face, It looks as if I could touch it and feel the fur! Brilliant work!
