Lol. I don't know. When I hear people say " thank you from the bottom of my heart" I think of them as thanking you with love and gratitude.
So I figured that my paws also love all the attention they get, so they thank you with love and gratitude too. :p
Except they show it in different ways. Such as by stomping on people, letting people smell, lick, massage them, its unique to each person I guess. ;)
