I oftwondered, why gold? Then I thought about it. Dragons are massive and at their lightest,
still outweigh a school bus. Gold is a metal but, it's soft, so for a dragon. It offers support
and gives a little so, for them, it's the difference between sleeping on the ground, or a cot.
