*chuckles* A beautiful picture, Blotch... and a very appropriate motto.
I love the simple, open expression of delight on his face, and the way you've captured the shadows... and that rich, effulgent sunlight.
Utterly wonderful, as always. :)

I would also have to agree that I like your clean work more than your yiff. Your style really lends itself well to large and well detailed works. I wish you produced more non-yiff work and more stuff like this. I need more stuff of yours that I wouldn't be embarrassed to hang on the wall in public.
You know, I like ya'll's work, I really do, but I wish you would do more pieces like this. 83 The porn and all is great and fun, don't get me wrong... but these really nice, clean, pieces are what makes me really enjoy what you guys do. One of my favorites is the one you did a couple years ago of the border collie on the beach, catching the Frisbee? Loved the mood and action and... everything! XD It reminded me a lot of my dogs (Cattle dogs and border collies for show/agility/disc competitions.) This one too... all around very nice.
Blotch, this is one wonderful piece of art. I got many of the answers to questions I was going to ask you about by reading what was already asked so I do not need to ask. (that's a whole lot of ask).
I do wonder what you plan on doing with the piece. Is this something that you would sell in the future or do you have so much pride in it that you could not possible part with it?
Oh and lastly (as I only got part of the question) what was the length of time for the complete piece?

Thank you! :]
To answer your questions... I will probably put it in the FC artshow later this month. While I do like it quite a bit and it was fun to paint, I really don't have much use keeping old art around--I can't hang it, as after awhile I can't look at a piece I made without seeing all the faults. That and it's wildly egocentric. ;] So really, if I kept it, it would just sit in a portfolio case waiting for something to inevitably destroy it. ;]
I think it took about a day to sketch it/draft in the background, maybe another 3 to paint it, give or take.

I'm just commenting to add my voice to the small but hopefully noticeable chorus -- I like your style and skill no matter what the subject, but I'm also putting my vote in for more non-adult stuff like this. (Or if you have to still do mostly adult stuff -- more romantic m/f pieces like "Hay Fever"!) >^_^<
This is absolutely beautiful. I know it doesn't involve murrpurrfurryporn and stuff, but I seriously think this is one of your loveliest pieces :) Everything about it is wonderful; the composition, the lighting, the distance of the birds from the tiger in the sill, etc. Really wonderful stuff.
I love the realistic spin you put on things. The proportions and the perspective of the building is perfect, and I love the vastness created by the negative space of the building. I feel an emotional attachment to the tiger cub, because he somewhat reminds me of me. Wistful, and enjoying the simple plessures of life. Well done ^_^
Amazing... Kind of reminds me of This One of the best albums I have ever listen in my life.

One day I'll fly away,
Leave all this to yesterday;
What more could your love do for me?
When will love be through with me?
Why live life from dream to dream,
And dread the day when dreaming ends?
Thank you for adding a little warmth to my heart on a day that otherwise alternates between tepid and torrid.

it´s rare to look back and marvel over the details of things we didn't know we valued. the things we miss the most is the things that
pestered us the most when we was to busy for it. commenting on this again and still having the picture clear in front of you just by
memory is fantastic. just as you, the artist. how you can come up with such eye treats and never in any less quality ^^ jolly good show!
cheers mate :]
