This is a guide to introduce everyone to the new species of adoptables I am going to be producing and distributing. They are called Muttins! They are a friendly mix of canines and ungulates (specifically ones that produce fleece or wool!)
This guide will show you the rarity ratings of different features of this species. The rarity overall of the Muttin ill affect its adoption price. I only sell Muttins for USD unless stated otherwise!!
Muttins are a CLOSED SPECIES! This means that official Muttins can only be created and distributed by me, unless someone is given a MYO voucher. I will distribute these under special circumstances or occasions.
ABOUT MUTTINS
Muttins live on a quiet farm in the distant countryside, where people go to make wishes in the farm's special magic wishing well. By throwing a coin into the well, as well as a special item of significance to the wisher. When the wish is made, the Muttin spirit will float out of the well and materialize in front of its new owner, or shepherd. It will remain loyal to this person for the rest of their time together.
Muttins can be shorn by their shepherd to produce wool, or fleece, that can be knitted into clothes and blankets that will always provide perfect comfort and warmth to its shepherd.
A Muttin is essentially immortal, and will never naturally die under any circumstances. They can, however, be killed. Muttins have predators, and a lost Muttin would be at risk! When a Muttin is killed its spiritual essence will return to the well it came from. It will then wait, hoping to be summoned again in the future.
The only way to get rid of a Muttin without killing it is to wish it away. When a shepherd no longer wishes to take care of a Muttin, wishing with true heartfelt sincereity for the Muttin to leave will cause it to return home to the farm where it was born It will graze there and live with the other Muttins until a kind soul comes and chooses to adopt it.
Muttins come in two size categories. The first is the Toy size, which stand at an average of a foot and a half at the top of the head. The second size is the Standard size. The standard-sized Muttins grow to an average of three and a half feet tall, Toy Muttins are very rare!
RULES OF ADOPTION:
1. Muttins are a closed species. This means that they are NOT free to be made, sold, and distributed by anyone but myself. The ONLY time anyone is allowed to make their own Muttin is with the use of a MYO Muttin voucher. I keep track of these and distribute them for special occasions.
2. Muttins will always be a mix of a canine or vulpine species, a sheep/goat/alpaca, and with the horns of an ungulate, or no horns at all. No other animal's body parts go into the making of a Muttin unless they are a special Muttin, made under very special, specific circumstances.
3. All Muttins that get adopted must be paid for before the un-watermarked image will be provided to the buyer. Upon receiving the promised payment, the Muttin will be given to the new owner without any watermark over the image.
4. I catalogue all Muttins on THIS deviantart gallery: http://muttin-farm.deviantart.com . Muttins not registered there will not be considered canon/official Muttins.
5. Muttins are not to be re-sold to anyone unless the original buyer informs me first. I need to be able to keep track of the owner of the Muttin for the catalogue. --I also reserve the right to offer to buy back any Muttins before they are sold to a third party!!--
6. Muttins CANNOT be created with RESTRICTED-level features by anyone but myself. This means no one with an MYO voucher will ever be able to make one with the restricted features. Only I can create and sell these Muttins.
7. I am going to keep a complete list of every user that has a MYO voucher. DO NOT try to trick or deceive me about ownership of a Muttin or an MYO voucher. This will result in being blacklisted from buying or creating Muttins.
