Thanks! I like the face a lot, too - especially in the full size.
And yeah, I love a good noise filter. I actually shaded and textured the whole pic myself first, didn't really like it, then stuck noise on the body at the end instead. Like a cheater BUT I'M NOT GOOD AT COLORS! Hahaha
The background is actually messing around with a solid background, an oil brush, a giant chalk brush, blurring around, and then putting a fine oil filter on and sharpening it.
...then a 15% noise filter of what I used before to match it a little.
Basically, I got lazy for the background and did most of it with sliders and options instead of drawing one. See excuses above. Hahaha
