a character i've been meaning to make a reff for, for a long time;;; drawing this was alot of fun and i think im starting to feel better about drawing again;;;;

anyways Drake is half alraune! he's a big softie teddy bear and he adores plants and nature in general.
he dosent really like his monster half because he's afraid he'd might hurt people;;;
most of the time he poses as a human but every now and then he has to turn into his monster form and feed in order to survive. The longer he stays a human the longer he has to be in his monster form but if he ever has to be in his monster from for over like 3/4 days he will start to pluck the thorns off himself, its painful but it makes him feel safer about people coming to see him.

the "tattoo" around his neck is where his petals come from

he's shy around new people but very warm and friendly once he feels comfortable. There's also nothing stopping his monstrous traits outside of his own willpower, so even when he shows as human if angry or threatened thorns will pop out of his skin; this hurts him a little but just causes more adrenaline. This also goes for when he's very happy or pleased, if he's not careful he'll start to bloom little roses~
